How the referral works
1) Tell us who you are
Complete a short form with your name, email, and the address you rent. We will log your referral against that property.
(We do not need your landlord’s contact details.)
2) Share our pre-written message with your landlord or share the flyer
Forward our pre-written message below, pointing them our offer.
When your landlord makes contact, they will see a question:
“Were you referred by a tenant” and a box to enter your name and the property address.
3) Get paid
If your landlord signs Full Management for your home and the property is managed by Vesta for three full months, we will pay £100 to your designated bank account.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to give you my landlord’s contact details
No. Please do not send us your landlord’s personal contact info. Just register your own details on the form and share the message above with your landlord. They will confirm your referral on their form if they choose to switch.
Who is my contract with?
Your tenancy agreement is between you and your landlord. Vesta acts as the managing agent on the landlord’s behalf.
What fees do you charge tenants?
We follow the Tenant Fees Act. No prohibited fees. See our Tenant Fees Schedule for permitted charges like late rent, lost keys or early termination.
How do I report a repair?
We prioritise urgent issues and keep you updated. Upon successful transfer of your management we will update you of our easy to follow repair process.
Are my deposits protected?
Yes. Your deposit is held with a government-approved scheme and your prescribed information is issued at move-in. So you should already have this. We will check that everything has been set up correctly.
How often are inspections?
Typically once in the first six weeks, then around every six months. We always give notice and agree a time.
What is the tenant referral reward?
If you are a named tenant and your landlord signs Vesta Full Management for your property, you can receive £100 by bank transfer after three full months of continuous management. One reward per property. If your landlord uses the risk-free switch within the first three months, no reward is paid.
Does my tenancy change if Vesta becomes the agent?
No. Your existing tenancy agreement remains in place. We handle communication, compliance and maintenance on the landlord’s behalf.
Will contractors need access when I am not home?
We try to arrange a suitable time. With your consent and proper notice, our approved contractors may use keys from our secure system for essential works.
What if I have a complaint?
Email complaints@vestalettings.com and we will follow our internal process. If you are not satisfied, you can escalate to The Property Ombudsman.
How do you handle my data?
We only use your information to manage your tenancy and maintain the property. Read our Privacy Policy.

These Terms explain how Vesta Lettings Limited (“Vesta”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates when acting as managing agent for your landlord. They should be read in conjunction with your tenancy agreement and our Privacy Policy.
1. Relationship to Your Tenancy Agreement
Your tenancy agreement remains the binding legal contract between you and your landlord. Our role as managing agent is to act on behalf of your landlord to ensure that the property is legally compliant, well maintained, and effectively managed. We will review tenancy agreements used in Vesta-managed properties to ensure they contain the standard clauses required by law.
2. Fees
No prohibited tenant fees will be charged. A full breakdown of permitted tenant charges is provided in our Tenant Fees Schedule.
3. Property Condition and Maintenance
At the start of our management, we may ask you to provide details of any ongoing issues or maintenance concerns in the property. This helps us assess the work required and manage the property more effectively.
4. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Tenant Referral Reward
We operate a referral scheme to thank tenants who introduce their landlords to Vesta.
You may refer your landlord to us where the referral relates to the property in which you are a named tenant under a current tenancy agreement.
If your landlord signs a Full Management agreement with Vesta for that property, you will be eligible for a reward.
The reward is a £100 payment transferred to your designated bank account.
The reward is payable after the property has been continuously managed by Vesta for three full months.
If the landlord invokes the Risk-Free Switching Guarantee within the first three months, no reward will be paid.
The scheme operates on a once per property basis (i.e. only one reward will be paid per property, regardless of the number of tenants).
Rewards are personal to the tenant(s) of the referred property and cannot be transferred.
